Sruti is proud to present a grand carnatic music concert by Amritha Murali accompanied by R. K. Shriramkumar on the violin and Sumesh Narayanan on the Mridangam.

Amritha Murali

Amritha Murali is a disciple of Sri K.R. Kedaranathan, Smt. Meera Kedaranathan and Smt. Rama Ravi. Amritha has performed for major organizations all over the country and abroad. A recipient of many prizes and awards, Amritha is an A grade artist of the All India Radio. Equally adept at playing the violin, she has won numerous awards and prizes for the same and has accompanied on the violin many senior artistes all over the country and abroad.

R.K. Shriramkumar (Violin)

Vidwan R.K.Shriramkumar is a leading classical violin artist of India and very familiar to the Sruti community. He belongs to the Rudrapatnam family of musicians; a family with a glorious musical tradition. He is the grandson of the much respected Vidvan Shri. R. K. Venkatarama Shastri. His skills were further honed through the association and learning he gained by accompanying the doyens of Carnatic Music like Sangita Kalanidhis Shri Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, Smt M S Subbulakshmi and others. A recipient of many awards, Shriramkumar has traveled far and wide on concert tours.

Sumesh Narayanan (Mridangam)

Sumesh S Narayanan, a young and vibrant mridangam artist, has been under the tutelage of Sri Tiruvarur Bhaktavatsalam since he was 8 years old. Sumesh has been accompanying on Mridangam since his Arangetram in 2005 and has performed in many concerts in the prestigious Sabhas across India and abroad.
