Reputed Carnatic vocalist with over 32 years of excellence in music, CS Sajeev was born on 5 May 1974 as the youngest son of Shri Chandramana S Sreekumaran Namboodiri and Shrimati G. Gouri Antherjanam in State capital of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram. Even at a very young age, Sajeev had displayed exquisite and eclectic taste in carnatic music, especially in identifying ragas and keertanas. He nurtured this gift organically as he started formally learning Carnatic as a child of four from eminent gurus such as Smt. Lalitha, Smt. Geetha and Shri. Irinjalakuda Vijay Kumar. Having perfected the basics of Carnatic at an early age, Sajeev started learning music in-depth from renowned guru Sri Varkala C.S. Jayaram during 1985-2003. During this time he was a National Talent Scholarship holder with Indian government accreditation and became an ‘A’ grade Artist with All India Radio, Chennai in 2002. His uncle and reputed guru Sri Chandramana Narayanan Namboodiri influenced Sajeev’s music a lot. Sajeev has garnered popular appeal as well as experts’ accolade for his beautiful renditions and has carved out a unique niche in the world of music with his impeccable vocal styles and dedication to perfection. To his credit, he has released several CDs and music cassettes. His works have been received well among the rasikas. His CDs and cassette albumsincludes the much popular ‘Neelakanta Sivan Krithis’ by ‘Kalavardini’ accompanied by Shri.V.V. Ravi with Shri.Guruvayur Dorai and N. Govindarajan.

Vadakkanchery Veeraraghava Ravi is a Carnatic music violinist. Born to Vadakkanchery Veeraraghava Iyer, a vocalist and violin vidwan, his musical lineage can be traced back to Swathi Thirunal and Muthuswami Dikshitar. His grand father was a court musician of the Swathi Thirunal Sangeetha Sabha. Ravi was initiated into music by his father and first guru, at the age of nine. Subsequently, he underwent advanced training from veterans like Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavatar, Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer and Puliyur
Subramaniam Narayanaswamy. As an instrumentalist, he performed with legendary musicians like Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavatar, Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, Madurai Shanmukhavadivu Subbulakshmi, Damal Krishnaswamy Pattammal, Kollengode Viswanatha Narayanaswamy, Manjapara Devesa Ramanathan, D. K. Jayaraman, Voleti Venkateswarulu, S. Kalyanaraman, Sandhyavandanam Srinivasa Rao and Madras Lalitangi Vasanthakumari. Ravi joined All India Radio in 1982 as a member of the Vadya Vrinda group. Numerous honours and awards have been conferred on him including the Best Violin Artiste by AIR in 1973, the best young violin artiste by Chennai Sangeetha Vidhvadh Sabha in 1976 and again as the best violin artiste in 1990, Madhura Murali Puraskar award in 2012, and Nada Vallabha honour by Nadasuda in 2014.

N S Kalyanaraman

Mr. N.S.Kalyana Raman a highly talented senior Mridangam artist who hails from a traditional
music family from Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. Mr. N.S.Kalyana Raman’s intuition towards Mridangam was quite expressive even in his tender age of five and was initiated to Mridangam by Sri.M.K.R.Prasad. Later he learnt the art from Sri Dandamodi Rammohana Rao and Sri.K.Veerabhadra Rao who are the world’s renowned Mridangam artists from Andhra Pradesh. Even in his teenage he won the appreciation from many reputed sangeetha vidwans on accompanying to their performances. As a leading Mridangam artist Mr.Kalayana Raman has played in all music sabhas in India and some of them are Madras Music Academy, Chembur Fine Arts,Shanmukhananda Sabha of Mumbai. He has also given lectures and demonstrations in many reputed universities organised by Spic-Macay an organization promoting Indian music and dance amongst youth.

Under his guidance he has brought up many young and talented Mridangam artists of which some of
them are All India Radio graded artists and has introduced them to the music world. N. S. Kalyana
Raman, honored with the prestigious Ugadi Puraskar by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh,
Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu , dedicated 36 years of service to All India Radio in Chennai and
Vijayawada. Recognized for his outstanding contributions, he is also a top-grade awardee of All India
Radio.
