Accompanied by Shubhankar Banerjee & Shubhashish Bhattacharya on the Tabla

Considered the leading sitarist of his generation, Ustad Shujaat Khan, a 2003 Grammy nominee for World Music, studied sitar with his father, the famous Indian classical musician Vilayat Khan. He has performed in acclaimed concerts throughout India, Japan and other parts of Asia. Joining him for the concert will be Debashish Bhattacharya, a master of many Indian classical instruments, who studied with Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. He has captivated audiences in the U. S., Canada and Europe with his unique guitar playing, synthesizing features of other instruments.
